project materials

The materials and systems utilized in the Breathing Lights exhibit have been removed from their host buildings and stored away. Our goal is to see these components creatively repurposed. Proposals are welcome from artists, teachers, inventors, makers, builders, organizations or individuals.

The reuse can be artistic or functional, but preference will be given to users who transform the components into unique projects. Projects need not re-late to the issue of property abandonment or breathing. It is not our intent to see the Breathing Lights effect recreated of simulated.

Interested parties will be required to submit:

  • A written description of how the components will be utilized.
  • Preliminary sketches and assembly details are encouraged but not required.
