We are thrilled to announce the project’s Neighborhood Ambassadors, local residents that represent the neighborhoods of Breathing Lights. Ambassadors will offer tours, interviews, connections and leadership throughout the project. Neighborhood Ambassadors are part of extensive programming in collaboration with our neighborhood hubs in each city – the Albany Barn, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady, and The Sanctuary for Independent Media in Troy.

In Albany, we welcome Lisa Crompton, Michael Ortega, the Reverend Marc Johnson, and DeSean Moore. In Schenectady, we are excited to begin work with Deyker Edwards, Jeffrey Nelson, Councilwoman Marion Porterfield, and Isaiah Teeling. And last but not least, in Troy we will be led by Jerry Ford, Joycelyn and Mac Henderson, Shawn MacLean and Jeannette Nicholson.

Follow us on our social media channels to read profiles on ambassadors and learn what inspires them each to be leaders in their communities.
